Review & Approval – Our team reviews and responds within 24-48 hours (Starting 01 May 2025). - Quality Check & Host Status – Once approved and your property meets our quality & hygiene guidelines,you’ll receive Host Status.
- Required Documents:
- Photo ID & Address Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.)
- Property Ownership Proof or Authorization (e.g., lease or consent letter if not the owner)
- If listing for a family member, both your ID & the owner’s ID/address proof are needed.
- Video KYC – A one-time video KYC will be conducted for the Homeyhuts account holder, either the property owner or the authorized representative.
Who is the Managed by Homeyhuts service for?
Managed by Homeyhuts is ideal for property owners who don’t have the time or expertise for online management, including bookings, pricing, and marketing. Homeyhuts takes care of everything online, including guest communication, listing optimization, revenue management, and marketing, ensuring higher occupancy with zero effort from the owner. (Owner takes care of all on-ground hospitality)
What documents do I need to list my homestay or vacation rental?
To list your property, you’ll need:
- Your KYC documents – A government-issued ID card and Address proof (Aadhar, Voter ID, or Passport etc.).
- Property ownership proof or lease agreement(as applicable).
- Homestay or other applicable license to operate the property as a vacation rental business.
What are the minimum quality and hygiene requirements to list a property?
All properties listed on Homeyhuts must meet our basic quality and hygiene standards, including:
- Clean, spot-free, and well-maintained interiors
- Proper bedding, good-quality furniture, and clutter-free spaces
- Fully functional amenities – WiFi, water supply, electricity, and basic security
