Over the years, I noticed that every time I stayed in a homestay, I left with more than memories. I left with conversations, laughter, shared meals, new friendships, and a sense of belonging that no hotel chain could ever match.

But as I spoke to more and more homestay owners, I realized something unfair was
happening in the background.

Most big travel platforms charge 15–20% commission on every single booking.

That means the very people who open their homes, share their culture, and make travel meaningful… are losing a big part of their earnings every time a guest books through those platforms.

And honestly, that didn’t sit right with me.

Homestays are often run by families not corporations.
They’re not trying to squeeze margins or chase massive profits.
They’re just trying to share their home and make a living while doing something
meaningful.

So I decided to create a solution that feels just as personal as the homestays
themselves.
